CoreTherm® patient specific thermal therapy for BPH

CoreTherm® Patient Specific Thermal Therapy is a non-surgical device intended as an in-office treatment for patients with BPH. It is suitable for a wide variety of patients including patients with urinary retention, non-catheterized patients and patients with large prostates.

CoreTherm® offers a unique and simple solution to BPH related problems because it combines the effectiveness of surgery with the ease of a truly minimally invasive treatment. CoreTherm® is the only device on the market that utilizes intra-prostatic temperature monitoring during treatment. With CoreTherm®, microwave power can be precisely controlled to customize tissue necrosis and treatment time.

Prostate volume reduction of up to 30% is typically seen after a 10-30 minute CoreTherm® treatment with clinical outcomes that are similar to TURP.
